Dr. Florencia Halperin, MD,
Dr. Florencia Halperin, MD, serves as Chief of Endocrinology at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital and the Medical Director for the Program for Weight Management. She's also an instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Halperin graduated from Harvard Medical School in 2002. Her research interests include endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes, hypertension, weight management, and obesity.

Carrie Dennett, MPH, RDN, LD,
Carrie Dennett, MPH, RDN, LD, is a Pacific Northwest-based registered dietitian nutritionist, certified intuitive eating counselor, journalist, and speaker. She is the author of Healthy for Your Life: A Holistic Approach to Optimal Wellness (Nutrition by Carrie, 2018). She's also the nutrition columnist for The Seattle Times and writes regularly for The Washington Post, Today’s Dietitian magazine, and Environmental Nutrition newsletter. Dennett also contributes to “New Day Northwest” on Seattle’s KING 5 TV.
When she's not writing, Dennett provides one-on-one nutrition counseling, helping people build better relationships with food using a non-diet, intuitive, and mindful eating approach.
Dennett earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Oregon and a Master of Public Health in nutritional sciences from the University of Washington. She has nearly 300 cookbooks in her personal library and enjoys cooking, vegetable gardening, and traveling.
